About the festival
Kuala Lumpur Design Festival 2023 (KLDF2023) is an international trade & exhibition event that aims to promote great design to the public.
Organised by Thinklab©, along with PAM, MIID, wREGA and PEREKA, programs and events are curated for all to experience and explore on the importance of good design.
Kuala Lumpur Design Festival is the culmination of various design associations, government agencies and independent design entities to promote and empower design education to the public, businesses and creatives in Malaysia.
Previous edition: KLDF ‘22
In 2022, thinklab and MTIB partnered with Think City and DBKL, along with PAMNXT, wREGA and PEREKA to organise a 2-week design programs, exhibitions and trade fair within KL Cultural Creative District, with a vision to turn KL into a world class design city.
With the support from various foreign embassy and their business chambers, KLDF is carving it's way for global presence with combining Singapore Design Week and Bintaro (Jakarta) Design Week as part of celebrating design culture in the ASEAN region.
KLDF 2022 received great support from design related industries and communities, government agencies and ministries, as well as independent entities and we are inspired to take the festival to greater heights in coming years.
